Beginning on May 16 and ending on june 10, applicants can register for the first round of degree admissions for the academic year 2023–24 through degree Online services telangana (DOST). The DOST announcement and schedule for degree admissions, which will be carried out in three parts, were announced here on thursday by the commissioner of collegiate and technical education and the chairman of the telangana State Council of Higher education, Prof. R. Limbadri.

The registration cost for the first round of admissions is Rs. 200. Web options may be used between May 20 and june 11, and seat allocation takes place on june 16. Similar to the first two phases, there will be two more, and on July 17 classes will start.

Admissions will be made to degree programs offered by colleges affiliated with Osmania University, Kakatiya University, telangana University, mahatma gandhi University, palamuru University, Satavahana University, Mahila Vishwavidyalyam, and JNTU - Hyderabad, including BA, BSc, BCom, BCom (Hons), BSW, BBA, BBM, and BCA. DOST is also used for D-Pharmacy admissions at polytechnic institutes connected to SBTET.
