In the upcoming days, residents in Alluri Sitarama Raju, Anakapalli, Bapatla, east Godavari, Eluru, guntur, Konaseema, Krishna, NTR, Palnadu, Manyam, and Visakhapatnam may experience extreme heatwaves. According to the predictions, 173 mandals will suffer heat waves with highs of 42 to 44 degrees Celsius. IMD representatives recommended the residents of the state take all necessary steps to prevent sunstrokes. To stay hydrated, they advised drinking buttermilk, coconut water, and other liquids.

To alert people about the heat waves and sweltering summer, the andhra pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (APSDMA) officials have set up a 24-hour toll-free helpline. By calling the toll-free numbers 1070, 112, and 1800425011, residents can get information on the scorching heat and heat waves from the state emergency operation center in Tadepalli, guntur district, according to APSDMA director Dr. BR Ambedkhar.
