Roads and Buildings minister Vemula Prashanth reddy gave the authorities and agencies instructions to speed up the construction since chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao will be launching the Martyrs Memorial very soon. The minister visited the Martyrs Memorial, which is being built across from the Dr. BR Ambedkar telangana State Secretariat, on tuesday to see the last work in progress.
Minister Vemula gave the officials the go-ahead to finish the job as soon as possible after assessing the progress. Later, he also looked over construction being done on a crossroads at the new Secretariat. At the police parade ground in the city on Monday, State Roads and Buildings minister Vemula Prashanth reddy officially opened the 23rd edition of the cm Cup.

The Chief Minister's Cup-2023 sports tournament is being organized by the State government for the first time in the State, according to the minister, in an effort to uncover latent talent among talented athletes in rural regions. The minister unfurled the sports flag at the event, which was also attended by rtc Chairman Bajireddy Govardhan, ZP Chairman Dadannagari Vitthalrao, MLC Rajeshwar, Mayor Neetu Kiran, collector Rajiv gandhi Hanumant, and others.

Athletes who had excelled at the national level presented the sports torch to minister prashant reddy, who then declared that the district level contests had begun. The sportsmen took a commitment from prashant reddy that they would make the competitions successful by working together and exhibiting sportsmanship. Players for archery, volleyball, kabaddi, and kho-kho were introduced.
