Burugupalli satya Raja Jaswanth, the son of a farmer, persevered despite coming from a low-income household. He won the Agriculture and Medical stream of the TS EAMCET 2023 with 155 out of 160 points. Jaswanth, who took the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2023 and is from the andhra pradesh district of east Godavari, aspires to be a doctor.

"I know I'll pass the NEET, I'm confident about that. I'd like to work as a cardiologist. My parents had to take out a loan to pay for my schooling because we don't have much money. My uncle also helps me out financially, Jaswanth said to a leading media. Tenant farmer Burugupalli Sai Ramakrishna, the father of Jaswanth, experienced significant losses as a result of the recent natural disaster in Andhra Pradesh. "We lost Rs 6 lakh as a result of the district's flooding. Selling milk from the family's cow and buffalo helps me pay for everyday costs, ramakrishna continued.

1,56,879 out of the 1,95,275 applicants who took the exam to be admitted to engineering programs have been accepted. 80.33 percent of students passed the exam. Boys underperformed in both streams compared to girls. In engineering, 82 percent of female candidates passed the exam, compared to 79% of male candidates. A total of 1,06,514 candidates took the exam for the agriculture and pharmaceutical streams, and 91,935 of them passed. The pass rate was 86.34 percent.
