Brahmana Samkshema Parishad, according to chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao, was created to ensure the welfare and development of the Brahman community, particularly of those who lived in poverty. On february 1st, 2017, the Brahmana Samkshema Parishad was established. He remarked this after formally opening the Viprahitha Brahmin Sadan at Gopanpally here on Wednesday. Since then, Rs. 100 crore has been provided each year to conduct various welfare and development activities for the Brahmin community in the State.

The only State in the nation to establish a dedicated Brahmin Sadan is Telangana. According to him, the telangana government has raised the bar for guaranteeing the welfare of the Brahmin group. The Kalyana mandapam in the Sadan offers free weddings and other services to members of the community. Aside from this, the nine-acre property includes an auditorium, an information center, and a Seer's lodging facility.

The chief minister made an announcement during the event that the monthly honorarium for Shasta or Veda pandits would increase from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 5000. Aside from this, the system would lower the eligibility age for beneficiaries from 75 to 65 years. The support under the Doopa deepa Naivedhyam initiative is currently being given to 3645 temples in the State, and it will soon be extended to 2796 temples, according to the Chief Minister. As a result, the plan would now include 6441 temples.

"I'll also share some positive news. Archakas are currently granted Rs. 6,000 under the Doopa deepa Naivedhyam initiative for temple upkeep. The amount has now been raised to Rs. 10,000. The chief minister added that the Rs. 2 lakh grant that was previously given to support Veda Patashala operations and maintenance will now be granted yearly. According to him, the government has also agreed to expand cost reimbursement for students attending ITMs and IIMs. In addition, the chief minister promised that the difficulties of the Anuvamshika archakas will be examined in the cabinet and resolved as soon as possible.

President of the All india Brahmin Federation Dr. pradeep Jyothi applauded chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao's decision to build a Brahmin Sadan exclusively for Brahmins.

"This is a state government's first-ever effort of this nature. We also congratulate the chief minister for adopting many welfare and development initiatives, particularly the Brahmin community's entrepreneurs supporting the project and the foreign education program for youngsters. In other States, political parties and leaders make a number of election-related announcements for the Brahmin community, but after the results are announced, they fail to follow through on their promises. Instead, he claimed, chief minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao takes initiative and works to advance the interests of all ethnicities.
