Industrialists had a difficult time opening up shop here prior to 2014 because of the former State's rife red tape. According to industries minister KT Rama Rao, this has changed with the red carpet being rolled out to invite businesses to establish operations here. The minister said there were times before telangana was formed when industrialists staged protests at Indira Park in hyderabad for power supply from the government. He was speaking after laying the foundation for Cyient Foundation's Rural Micro Skill Development Centre in the town here on thursday and handing out job offer letters to 120 girls who secured jobs after receiving training at Cyient.

The tale had evolved over the course of nine years. According to him, the government now provides the home, agricultural, and industrial sectors with reliable electricity around-the-clock. Industrialists were establishing facilities in the State and creating jobs as a result of chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's vision and leadership, he claimed. Rama Rao urged young people and students in particular to take advantage of the government-created employment possibilities.

It takes a lot of work to persuade businessmen to set up their facilities. Many young people were moving to hyderabad from various States in order to find employment. He said that only finding employment would not be sufficient and that it would be unfair to the government's efforts if kids from the State did not take advantage of the opportunity. Additionally, one would need to continually improve their talents.

The minister recalled the circumstances that existed in former mahabubnagar, saying that while it was formerly renowned for migration, it is now recognized for irrigation. The State government was building reservoirs with a 67 tmcft storage capacity in Uddandapur, Karivena, and other locations. He predicted that after these projects were finished in august or September, mahabubnagar will become even more fruitful.

Born in mahabubnagar, Client Foundation Chairman BVR mohan reddy said it was a privilege to establish a rural micro skill development hub in the region. Along with offering quality professors and jobs, Cyient will also adopt the mahabubnagar ITI centre and renovate its facilities. He stated that the existing student capacity for the females at the ITI centre was 116 for two years and will be increased to 116 students every year.
