On Thursday the representatives of different political parties have urged the Election Commission of India to make sure that the state owned Tamilnadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited did not limit the satellite television channels from airing content that was not to be liking of the AIADMK Party.


Nasim Zaidi the representative have pointed out in a meeting which was organized with the Chief Election Commissioner has told that the TN Cable TV operations were operated by the state agency and he feels that there will be arbitrariness in telecasting independent content.


The Election Commission should take charge of the running Arasu TV to the Model code of conduct to make sure that no TV channel is blacked out. The General Secretary of the TNCC M. Jyothi has told that the TN Arasu Cable TV Corporation should not change the slots of the TV channels and the commission must monitor that the corporation airs all the channels.


When questioning about the credibility of the police personnel have presently deployed who are controlled by the state government in sensitive polling stations. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) will deploy police personnel to monitor 6,800 state run liquor shops should be considered as important and has told that it is an anti-social activity which are against the Model Code of Conduct.
