The much hyped Sadak Bandh passed of more or less peacefully with Kiran Reddy determined to crush the agitation and gain an upper hand in the eyes of Congress high command. But one can only guess the response that was seen across the Bangalore Highway.
The news that the T-movement is fizzling down after a period of three years was clearly visible as there were no more than few thousands, that too only at some points. It is a common maxim that one has to strike when the iron is hot but with false assurances and the so called signals from New Delhi, KCR has literally hijacked the movement in one way or the other.
This has led to frustration among genuine Telangana seekers that the movement is dying down and this was there to see yesterday during the Sadak Bandh. On the other hand, even Kiran Kumar Reddy and the authorities are bent upon ensuring that the issue is not given any leniency anymore.
