Telangana Wing of the Telugu Desam Party party surprised everyone by contesting in the by-election of Huzurnagar Assembly constituency. The party has pressed its Senior leader, Chava Kiranmayi as the candidate and started campaigning. Meanwhile, the party is in for a shock as Tulla Veerender Goud, TDP (TS) Telugu Yuvatha President resigned to the party.
He is going to join BJP on October 3rd in the Presence of BJP Working President, JP Nadda. In 2014, Virender was rejected the MLA ticket from Uppal constituency. At the behest of Chandrababu, he contested from Chevella Lok Sabha constituency reluctantly and lost. He had to work hard for the Uppal ticket in last year's Telangana assembly elections. In the end, he contested as Mahakutami candidate but did not win the election.
TRS Candidate, B Subash Reddy won by a huge majority of 48,168 votes. It has to be seen if Devender Goud will also follow his son. The TDP Senior Leader is not doing well in the recent years. He was nominated to the Upper House by TDP and his term ended in April 2018.
