TDP President CBN has planned to reshuffle the party in Karimnagar district 5 months before the general election. The district is known for Telangana sentiment. CBN prepared the district cadre to win maximum segments in the district. CBN has replaced 3 in-charges in the district. Party has appointed new in-charges for Korutla, Vemulawada and Ramagundam.
Ex-MLA Shikari Vishwanatham who is the in-charge for Korutla segment is suffering with ill-health and was unable to participate in party activities. Ex-Sarpanch of Metpalli, S.Prabhakar has been appointed new in-charge for Korutla. TDP won Venulawada segment in 2009 and it’s MLA jumped into TRS. TDP is trying to bag this again. Senior TDP leader and ex-MLC, Chennadi Sudhakar appointed as new in charge for Vemulawada. Gandra Nalini shifts to Karimnagar Segment. Nalini can’t accept this change.
Senior leader and ex-minister PeddiReddy has appointed as in-charge for Ramagundam segment. This is shock to Ailaiah Yadav who remains in the party since its inception. CBN believes that party fails to picking up in the segment and that forced to change the in-charge. Being worked as leader of labour union, Peddireddy has good relations with union workers and that helps to took in-charge for Ramgundam. In Huzurabad, Kashyap Reddy son of late Muddasani Damodara Reddy has selected as TDP nominee. People in the district have still remembered the services of Muddasani in their mind. Young Kashyap will face might Etela from TRS in Huzurabad. CBN asks Kashyap Reddy to work hard. All these changes will lead to dissidence among the party cadre.
