The final results of the election for kuppam city panchayat in chittoor district have been released.
In Chandrababu's constituency, the ruling ycp was able to win. tdp chief Chandrababu, who has been in power here since 1989, has faced a backlash.
For a total of 25 wards, tdp had to match 6 wards. While 1 ward was unanimous, the ycp got 18 wards out of the 24 wards where elections were held.
With that, Dr. Sudhir kuppam of that party got the chance to be elected as the first Municipal Chairman.
In this context, the counting of votes was done under the supervision of a special officer with the orders of the High Court. The YCPK seemed to dominate from the start.
Interesting politics in Kondapalli
The Kondapalli city panchayat election has yielded interesting results.
Neither party received a clear majority in the final results. The ruling ycp and the opposition tdp got 14 wards each.

In this city panchayat with a total of 29 wards, the magic figure is 15 and no one has reached it.
With that, it became interesting who the winning candidate from the 10th ward as an Independent would support. With that said it looks likely that both parties here will be vying for the chairman seat.
On the other hand, Kondapalli Independent Councilor Sri lakshmi joined the tdp in the presence of Chandrababu.
Independent councilor tdp is wearing a scarf and mp Keshineni nani is also trying to exercise his right to vote as an ex-officio member.
