An additional 40 lakh square kilometers of land needs to be rehabilitated by 2050. Developing countries need to be funded immediately, the report said. By 2050, india will have 40 lakh square kilometers of land, equivalent to pakistan, and natural areas where drought relief measures will be in place.About 40 percent of the earth's land area is deteriorating.
