NIA officers raid:
On september 22, NIA visited various offices of the Popular Front of india across the country. Officials are investigating. Following the arrest of many prominent leaders of this organization, people from various Islamic organizations and secular movements jumped into protests. Subsequently, protests were held in various districts across tamil Nadu, including the organization's head office at Purasaivakam in Chennai. Violence broke out in the protest in Kerala. Kerosene and petrol bomb attacks were carried out on the houses of bjp and RSS leaders at various places in tamil Nadu. In this context today (September 28) the central government declared the Popular Front of india organization and its subsidiary organizations illegal and banned this organization.

Police on high alert:
In this case, security has been strengthened throughout the country, including tamil Nadu, to prevent further incidents and protests. These security arrangements have been made after the Intelligence Unit had earlier advised that there would be protests against the ban order of the Central Government. The police have stepped up security arrangements across tamil Nadu, especially in Chennai.
Security has been beefed up in front of the Popular Brand of india office on Purasaivakkam Mookathal Street, Manadi, Tiruvallikeni, Ice Outs, Jam Bazaar, and other areas. The police department has also been instructed to make necessary security arrangements in places where the Popular Front of india is strong.
