On Wednesday, Civil Supplies minister Gangula kamalakar praised the efforts being made by authorities in all districts to buy paddy quickly and urged them to remain vigilant since the coming 10 days would be vital in many ways. The minister reviewed the procurement process via video conference with each district Collector. He said the procurement was being done against all difficulties and that the involvement of the authorities was commendable after asking each collector about their experiences during the procedure.

He gave them instructions to make sure no paddy inventories from bordering states entered the state marketplace. This element was equally crucial to the process of procuring grain from farmers up to the very last grain was bought. He said that up to this point, the acquisition had surpassed the objective by 10 lakh tonnes. Additionally, he urged the collectors to watch out for farmers who could become agitated and take to the roadways. The Chief minister, K. Chandrashekhar Rao, is a strong supporter of giving every farmer a fair deal.

Telangana is the only state that offers irrigation and free electricity in addition to totally procuring the farmers' output. Wherever they are having trouble unloading the purchased paddy, he advised them to choose an interim storage facility (intermediate godowns). If interim storage facilities are not offered in a district, it is advisable to look into if they are offered in any nearby districts. If necessary, temporary storage facilities should be acquired in nearby states like Raichur, Bidar, and Jaggaiahpet.

Additionally, he demanded that government guarantee farmers' timely payments. The collectors informed the minister that the districts' custom-milled rice collecting procedure was also ongoing at the same time. Godowns of the farm market committees, Rythu Vedikas, and other government locations, as well as commercial intermediate godowns, were also being used to address the storage-related difficulties.

They stated that among the inventories relocated to intermediate godowns were 40000 metric tonnes in Suryapet, 52000 metric tonnes in Jagityal, and 30700 metric tonnes in Medak. Among the representatives present were the chairman of the Civil Supplies Corporation, Ravinder Singh, the commissioner, Anil Kumar, and the general manager, raja Reddy.
