Seven people have been detained by the Kulcharam police in relation to the murder of K Ramulu, 35, whose body was discovered in the Manjeera River on May 25. Ramulu, a resident of Pati Ghapur village in Patancheru, was allegedly assassinated by seven individuals led by Myadari Veeramani, with whom he had an adulterous relationship, according to the police. Ramulu was reportedly acting inappropriately with Veeramani's little daughter when she killed him, according to the police, with the assistance of her family and friends.

According to medak DSP B Saidulu, the two had been having an adulterous relationship for three years. However, despite Veeramani's warnings, Ramulu began acting inappropriately around her little daughter, which prompted her to come up with a plan to kill him. She invited Ramulu to visit her family and friends on May 17 after gathering them from medak and Kowdipally. then then used an iron rod to murder him, and then dropped his corpse in the Manjeera.
