PM Modi’s meerut Visit: Traffic Diversions and Route Plan


Event and Timing


Prime minister Narendra Modi’s public meeting in meerut is scheduled for february 22nd.


Traffic diversions will be in effect from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.


Major roads will be closed, and alternative routes have been established for private vehicles, buses, and heavy vehicles.


Emergency and ambulance services will remain fully operational despite road closures.


Heavy Vehicle Diversions


Ghaziabad to Meerut: Heavy vehicles prohibited from Rajnagar Extension, Duhai, Muradnagar, and Modinagar; must use Delhi-Meerut Expressway or Peripheral Expressway.

Muzaffarnagar to Meerut: vehicles to proceed via NH-58 from Sathedi police Chowki bridge.


Moradabad/Hapur to Meerut: Diverted via Tiyala underpass → Kithaur → Parikshitgarh → Bijnor/Muzaffarnagar.


Inside meerut city: Restrictions at Bijli Bamba intersection → Shopprix Mall, Partapur Interchange, and Kashi Toll Plaza.


Meerut-Partapur to Modinagar: Road remains closed.


Routes for meerut to delhi Travel


From meerut city to Delhi: vehicles can use Roorkee Road, Modipuram Bridge, Sardhana Bridge, Rohta Bridge, Baghpat Bridge, NH-58, Kashi Toll Plaza, Delhi-Meerut Expressway.


From hapur to Delhi: vehicles can use Delhi-Moradabad Highway via Bijli Bamba intersection.


From delhi to Meerut: Vehicles can enter via Delhi-Meerut Expressway, Kashi Toll Plaza, NH-58, Baghpat Bridge, Rohta Bridge, Sardhana Bridge, Modipuram, Roorkee Road, or Delhi-Moradabad Highway via hapur and Bijli Bamba.


No entry via Partapur Interchange and delhi Road.


Namo Bharat rail Update


The Namo Bharat rail currently runs to New ashok Nagar, Delhi.


Within three days, it will extend to Sarai Kale Khan, connecting to indian Railways, delhi Metro, and bus services.


A trial run is scheduled for Friday, running from Sarai Kale Khan to Begumpul.


Post-inauguration, passengers can access meerut South Namo Station → Begumpul Station easily.


Parking and Access for Buses and Cars


From Delhi/Ghaziabad: Modinagar → Left past Kadarabad police Post → Parking area.


From Muzaffarnagar/Shamli: Siwalkhas Bridge → ganga Canal track → Parking area.


From Hapur: Kharkhoda Thana Tiraha → Mohiuddinpur → Parking area.


From Mawana/Parikshitgarh: Daurala → ganga Canal track → Siwalkhas Bridge → Parking area.


The traffic plan was updated multiple times, with revisions at 10 pm, 12 midnight, and shortly afterward to manage the event efficiently.
