The Rythu Bandhu plan would have given farmers' accounts a total of Rs 72,910 crore after the 11th installment. This year, there will be an additional 5 lakh beneficiaries of the program, including 1.5 lakh Podu farmers who own 4 lakh acres of Podu land. The program's goal is to help farmers and boost agricultural output. Compared to prior payments, this will entail an additional burden to the government of almost Rs. 300 crores.
As the only State in the nation to offer twice-yearly aid of Rs. 10,000 per acre, telangana stands apart. Various programmes, such Rythu Bima, uninterrupted quality and cost-free power, and uninterrupted water supplies for irrigation, serve as examples of this dedication to assisting farmers. According to him, these initiatives demonstrate chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's steadfast commitment to the welfare of farmers and the development of the agricultural sector.
"More cultivation and a striking rise in rice output have been caused by the completion of unfinished projects and the availability of irrigation water as a consequence of the building of the kaleshwaram project. The success of the State's agricultural policies is seen by the adjacent States turning to telangana for rice supply, the minister said, adding that despite difficulties, chief minister Chandrashekhar Rao was consistent in his commitment to farmers' welfare.
