Rama Rao claimed that when bjp president Nadda visited telangana, he said nothing that was helpful to the people and instead resorted to spouting nonsense. "Neither the bjp president nor union tourism minister g kishan reddy can explain why the Centre is struggling to complete the uppal flypast on schedule," he claimed.
He said that although the State administration is working quickly to finish 35 infrastructure projects, including flyovers and underpasses, the Centre has been stumbling around for years trying to build two flyovers. He claimed that the speed at which large-scale infrastructure projects are being completed is an example of the telangana administration, led by Chandrashekhar Rao, operating in an effective manner.
During a sunday public meeting in Nagarkurnool, Rama Rao responded to the bjp president's remarks by asking, "Why would you send the chief minister to jail? Are you going to throw him in jail for supporting the 12 lakh households who benefited from Shaadi Mubarak and Kalyana Lakshmi? Will you throw him in jail for providing 13 lakh women with free kcr kits and for addressing long-standing problems that the congress party was responsible for igniting?
Should the chief minister do time in prison for providing everyone with access to clean water and power, giving away free 2-bedroom homes, or luring IT firms to Uppal? Asked Rama Rao. A revanth reddy, the president of the TPCC, was chided by the working president of the BRS, who claimed that despite the congress party's 55-year failure to develop telangana, revanth reddy, who is personally involved in the cash-for-vote scandal, plays to the crowd by purposefully criticising the chief minister in order to boost his own political status.
