Gift to the poor in Gorakhpur - cm yogi announced…..

Uttar Pradesh chief minister yogi Adityanath announced the construction of six KalyanMandapam wedding venues in Gorakhpur for organizing matrimonial and auspicious programs for the convenience of poor people. According to a spokesperson of the state government, the chief minister laid the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 78 crore in Gorakhpur.
These mainly include mini sports Complex in BhatiVihar Colony to be built at a cost of Rs. In his address on the occasion, the chief minister said that marriages or other auspicious functions are often held in urban areas by erecting tents on the road itself, due to which people suffer a lot. He said that in view of this problem, Municipal Corporation and Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) have been directed to set up KalyanMandapam, where poor people will be able to perform their auspicious programs.
Establishment of KalyanaMandapam
CM yogi informed that initially KalyanMandapam equipped with all necessary facilities like hall, room, guest room, parking, lawn with capacity to accommodate 250-300 people will be built at six different places in Gorakhpur city. The establishment of KalyanaMandapam will cost Rs 1-1.5 crore. cm yogi also appealed to all public representatives to join this initiative. The chief minister also laid the foundation stone of the mini sports Complex on the occasion. He said that it is a gift for the youth of eastern Uttar Pradesh.
This sports complex will be a platform for all sports, which will have badminton court, basketball court, lawn tennis, play ground, running track, multi-purpose hall, park etc. He said that about 150 acres of land has been reserved for the international Stadium in Gorakhpur. cm yogi said that the state government is rapidly progressing the construction work of one stadium in every district, mini stadium in each development block and sports ground in each gram panchayat.
