The Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) and its campaign slogan, "Ab Ki Baar Kisan Sarkar," received the backing of Maharashtrian farmers who gathered in huge numbers on wednesday at Islampur in the Sangli district. They decided to work towards installing a new administration in the nation, led by BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao, in order to free the farmer community from suffering and suicides—a problem that previous governments had failed to address in the nation.

To restore the faltering fortunes of the farmers, they supported replicating the telangana model of growth in every State. At the location of the well-attended public gathering, the slogans "Ab ki Baar Kisan Sarkar" blasted the air. The speakers emphasised Telangana's quick turnaround in vital industries including agriculture, irrigation, and electricity under the capable leadership of Chandrashekhar Rao.

With the implementation of Rythu Bandhu and Rythu Bima, free electricity, and the extension of irrigation facilities to all of their land holdings with the building of large projects like Kaleshwaram, farmers were a happy lot today. According to them, telangana produces more food grains than any other state.

Farmers in telangana and maharashtra share several traits. They maintained that using the telangana model would have a similar positive effect on them. Speaking to the crowd, Kalvakuntla Vamsidhar Rao, the BRS in charge of maharashtra, declared that after 13 years of unceasing battle, the party, which was founded in 2001 under Chandrashekhar Rao's leadership, had attained its ultimate aim.

When the BRS President most recently visited maharashtra, Raghunath Patil, the head of the Shetkari Sangathan maharashtra, presided over a public gathering at Islampur. Patil joined the party in the Chief Minister's presence. In addition to Vamsidhar Rao, several BRS officials were there, including Manik Kadam, the president of the maharashtra Kisan Cell, and former mla Sankaranna Dhondge. Farmers, BRS officials, activists, and Shetkari Sanghatan representatives from all across the State attended the gathering.
