Several steps have been taken by the bihar government to stop the land dispute and the killings due to it, but if
we look at the figures of NCRB, all of them are proving to be insufficient.
survey and Settlement: To resolve these disputes, in the year 2022, the nitish kumar government had started
the work of survey and settlement of the land, which was promised to be completed by the end of the year
2023. Through this step, complete information about the ownership of the land will be known. Inaugurating
this survey, cm Nitish had said that after the completion of the survey-settlement work, there will be a lot of
help in settling the dispute related to it.
Online complaint facility: Apart from this, online complaint can also be made in the Deputy collector of Land
Reforms (DCLR) court to deal with this dispute. This facility has been launched on 12 august 2023 under the
Land Disputes Redressal Act 2009 (BLDRA). It was started by Revenue and Land Reforms Department
Minister Alok Kumar Mehta during a program. This program was organized by the Directorate of Land
Records and Measurement at the Revenue (Survey) Training Institute located in Shastri Nagar, Patna.
Under the Land Disputes Redressal Act 2009 (BLDRA), matters such as settling minor disputes related to
