There are plans in preparation for the chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao to address a public gathering on 20 august at the agricultural market yard in this location. More than two lakh attendees are anticipated, according to BRS executives. Vehicle parking needs are being addressed close to the event. Chandrashekhar Rao, the chief minister, is anticipated to take off in a helicopter and land at the collectorate helipad.

The chief minister would open the BRS party office, the new district Police office (DPO) building, and an integrated vegetable and meat market after dedicating the new collectorate building. Later, at 2 PM, he would speak to a public gathering.

Traffic Diversions
Police implemented traffic restrictions on the day in consideration of the public meeting close to National Highway No. 65. miryalaguda would be used as a diversion for vehicles travelling from hyderabad to the vijayawada side. vehicles travelling from vijayawada to hyderabad would be detoured via the khammam by-pass road.
