Residents of Bahadurpura in the ancient city were alarmed when a four-story structure began to lean to one side while it was still being built. The Housing Board Society in Bahadurpura's under-construction edifice started to lean, and the locals became aware of this a few days later. On saturday night, as they continued to monitor it, worry increased when the structure started to slant more to the right.
Locals observed the growing space between this building and the one next to it, which is still covered in scaffolding at the ground floor level. Residents in the area were alarmed by this and notified the local corporator, who then alerted the ghmc and local police. The EV&DM team and the ghmc town planning staff visited the site after the local police officers. Senior ghmc officials visited the location on sunday morning and decided to demolish the structure since it was deemed unsafe for habitation and posed a risk to the general public.

In order to stop anyone from approaching the structure, the police closed the area around it and assumed command. shyam Kumar, the deputy city planner for the south, stated that equipment to demolish the structure had been rented and was en route to the city. It's a massive building, and we've hired a long breaker crane to take it down gradually, he explained.
