Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath reached Gonda on Wednesday. After this, cm Yogi conducted an
aerial survey of the flood affected areas. Then the chief minister reached Palhapur in Colonelganj tehsil area,
where he met the flood victims and gave relief material to more than 100 flood victims. He also met the officials
and took information about the preparations made for flood protection. Not only this, necessary directions were
also given to the officials.
While addressing the flood victims, cm Yogi said that 21 districts are affected by floods. I want to assure the
people of Gonda that there will be no problem due to flood. This time the monsoon is running very late. 23
villages in Gonda have been affected by floods. He said that he assures the Annadata farmers that after surveying
the damage caused due to flood, the government will compensate for the loss.
CM talked about giving PM residence
The chief minister further said that to deal with the floods, one will have to remain alert for the next one and a
half months. The flood situation will continue for one and a half months and the double engine government is
ready to deal with the disaster. He said that after conducting a survey of the flood victims whose houses have
been destroyed by the flood, they will be given PM accommodation. Those whose houses have been slightly
damaged will be given financial assistance. Relief material is being provided to the flood victims and the
government will not allow any kind of problem. It is noteworthy that a large number of people have been affected
by floods in many districts of UP. In such a situation, his life has become very busy.
