Assembly elections in rajasthan may probably be announced in the first week of October. The code of conduct
will be imposed in rajasthan only after the announcement. Even before this, all the political parties are
continuously holding meetings to consider many aspects to announce the candidates on each seat. The parties
are most focused on 28 seats in Mewar and Vagad. Not only this, among these 28 seats, maximum emphasis is
being given to the 16 st reserved seats. The biggest reason behind this is that along with the national parties,
major local parties have also announced their entry into the electoral fray and are busy in declaring their
candidates.
Bharatiya Janata party and congress will definitely field their candidates on the assembly seats of entire
Rajasthan, because both these parties are national parties. There are many parts of rajasthan where local
parties maintain their dominance and existence. These local parties are Bharatiya Tribal party and Bharatiya
Adivasi Party. They exist in Mewar and Vagad i.e. udaipur and Banswara divisions. Bharatiya Tribal Party
had won two MLAs in the last elections. Bharatiya Adivasi party has been formed recently, but under the
banner of this party the youth had won the student union elections.
ST reserved 16 seats in Banswara division
Actually, bharatiya janata party and congress will field their candidates on all the 28 seats of Mewar,
preparations for which are going on at the party level. Now in such a situation comes the matter of Bharatiya
Tribal party and Bharatiya Adivasi Party. In the last elections, two MLAs from the Bharatiya Tribal party had
won, but now the same two MLAs have separated from the party and have formed the Bharatiya Tribal Party
under the leadership of the tribal society. Officials of Bharatiya Tribal party and Bharatiya Adivasi party have
announced that they will field their candidates on 16 st reserved seats in udaipur division and Banswara
division. In such a situation, there will be an exciting four-way competition.
