It is seen that both the factions of shiv sena are trying their best to organize this year’s dussehra fair at Shivaji
Park grounds. Both the groups are insisting that the dussehra gathering should be held in shivaji Park only.
Both Shinde’s shiv sena and the thackeray faction are waiting for the response to the application submitted to
the mumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). However, while waiting for this, shiv sena Shinde faction has
prepared Plan B for this dussehra event.
Plan B ready for dussehra gathering?
While both factions of shiv sena have entered the fray for the dussehra meeting, a struggle is being seen once
again between the two factions to get the shivaji Park ground for their respective factions. Both the groups had
sent a letter to the BMC divisional office a month ago to get shivaji Park for the dussehra fair. Now before
taking a decision on this letter, mumbai Municipal Corporation is taking guidance from the Law Department.
However, to take this decision, shiv sena Shinde faction has prepared Plan B for the dussehra gathering.
Who among the two groups will get permission?
If like last time this time also shiv sena Shinde faction did not get shivaji Park ground for dussehra fair, then
where will the dussehra fair be organized this year? Therefore, the ground between BKC Ground and
Mahalaxmi Race Course has already been considered for this. Development work is going on at the BKC
MRDA grounds organized last year. Therefore the meeting will not be held there this year. Another nearby
BKC ground where maha Vikas Aghadi had earlier held its Vajramooth meeting is now being considered for
the dussehra meeting of the shiv sena Shinde faction. It was also said that both the groups are keeping an eye
on the role of mumbai Municipal Corporation and after that their next strategy in the context of dussehra Fair
will be decided.
