There is less than a month left for voting in rajasthan assembly elections. Apart from the two main parties

of the state, bjp and Congress, aam aadmi party (AAP) is also in the electoral fray. While Aam Aadmi

party candidates are busy preparing for the rajasthan elections, an allegation of fraud has been made

against one candidate in Hyderabad. The police in telangana have registered a case against an AAP

candidate in the rajasthan assembly elections for cheating some people. Not only this, the police has also

taken the AAP candidate into custody.

aam aadmi party has given ticket to jewelery trader and Panwar resident Deepesh Soni (32) from Khanpur

assembly seat of Jhalawar, Rajasthan. On this matter, Station house Officer of Panwar police Station

Dinesh Sharma said that jeweler Soni often went to hyderabad on business trips. According to the officer,

Deepesh Soni went to hyderabad on october 26 on one such trip, but he did not answer his phone calls.

AAP candidate in police custody

Station house Officer Dinesh Sharma said that after this his father lodged a complaint at Panwar Police

Station on october 28. Sharma said that after tracking the location of Soni's mobile phone, a team of

rajasthan police reached Baserabad in telangana on sunday and found him in the custody of the local

police. He said that a case was registered against Soni on saturday for cheating a local businessman. An

FIR was registered against him under sections 420 (cheating) and 406 (criminal breach of trust) of the

Indian Penal Code at Baserabad police station in Telangana.


Sharma said, so far two more cases of fraud have been registered against him, one of which was registered

last week and the other on september 15. Let us tell you that last week, aam aadmi party had declared

Deepesh Soni as the candidate from Khanpur assembly seat of Jhalawar in its candidate list. Voting will be

held on 200 assembly seats of rajasthan on november 25 and counting of votes will take place on

december 3. Also, the results will also be announced on december 3 only.
