After dealing with a high demand for world cup tickets, fans are now tackling a massive surge in airfare and hotel prices in ahmedabad, where the final match is scheduled to be played on sunday at the narendra modi Stadium. India’s participation in the world cup final resulted in a huge spike in flight and hotel prices. A social media user, named Ayush Pranav, has now come up with a plan, albeit jokingly, to reach ahmedabad ahead of the India-Australia world cup final. He even invited others to accompany him on this journey. But there was one particular catch in the closing statement, which read, “DM if interested, prefer someone with a helicopter and tickets, otherwise we can’t go.”

“Anyone interested in going to the world cup final in a helicopter, I’m looking for 2 people to join us. Leave Sat from Blr airport, fly to ahmedabad, have breakfast watch the match then fly home. DM if interested, pref someone with a helicopter and tickets, otherwise we can’t go,” read the post shared by the person on social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

Coming back to on-field developments, Team india reached the world cup final having defeated new zealand by 70 runs in the first semi-final. Five-time champions Australia, on the other hand, qualified for the final having claimed a thrilling three-wicket victory over south africa in the second semi-final.
