The government is preparing to conduct a detailed survey regarding the prohibition law implemented in Bihar.
While talking to journalists at the state office on wednesday (December 13), minister Sunil Kumar (JDU Minister
Sunil Kumar) said that we will go to the details of liquor ban. An effort will be made to find out what the benefits
were and what women want. On the statement of former chief minister Jitan ram Manjhi on ending liquor
prohibition, the minister said that he had also voted in favor. He didn’t say anything as long as we were together.
Now that they have gone into the lap of BJP, their reaction will also be the same.
Liquor prohibition is not over... there will be amendments if necessary
Sunil Kumar said that we have made amendments from time to time. There is no point in Jitan ram Manjhi’s
statement. He is giving statements only under the instructions of BJP. chief minister Nitish Kumar has said that
women have benefited more. We have also given compensation on deaths caused by poisonous liquor. We have
not given any thought to ending it. Liquor prohibition will not end in Bihar. If necessary, amendments will be
made.
On Nitish Kumar’s rally to be held in Varanasi, the minister said that he will campaign wherever the Chief
Minister feels comfortable. When the time comes, election campaigns will be held on the basis of Indi alliance and
the decision of the Chief Minister.
