kejriwal for questioning on december 21 in the money laundering case related to excise policy.
AAP coordinator did not appear before ED in November
The ED had first summoned him to appear before it on november 2, but he did not appear before it alleging that
the notice was vague, (politically) motivated and not maintainable as per law. Officials said the summons sent to
AAP national convenor kejriwal pertains to his interrogation and recording of his statement under the Prevention
of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in the alleged delhi Excise Policy case. It is alleged that the Delhi
government's 2021-22 excise policy for granting licenses to liquor traders was designed to benefit some liquor
traders, who allegedly paid bribes for it. AAP has repeatedly denied this allegation.
