Loan of Rs 85 thousand crores
The installment of Rs 500 crore for a period of 10 years will be deposited in the account of himachal pradesh government on january 17. This loan is to be repaid by january 17, 2034. At the same time, the second installment will have to be paid by the government by january 2039. After the new loan of one thousand crore rupees comes into the account of the state government, himachal pradesh will have a loan of more than Rs 85 thousand crore. Earlier on december 15, the state government had taken a loan of Rs 1,200 crore.
Loan limit Rs 6600 crore annually
himachal pradesh government has to take loan even to meet its normal expenses. Let us tell you that in the year 2023-24, the loan limit with the state government is Rs 6 thousand 600 crore. Including the new loan, this debt will become Rs 6 thousand 300 crore. Now the state government will be able to take a loan of only Rs 300 crore till the month of March. After this, the state government's loan limit will be reached.
