The state government has presented its reply in the high court in the matter of recovery of fees from the minor gang rape victim and her sister of Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. After the rebuke of the high court and imposition of cost on the officials, the government has finally filed its reply in a sealed envelope. Taking the reply on record, the division bench of Chief Justice ravi Malimath and Justice vishal mishra has scheduled the next hearing of the case on february 27.

Let us tell you that when the reply was not received in the last hearing, the high court got angry and imposed a cost of Rs 25 thousand each on the Chief Secretary of the State government, Principal Secretary of school education Department and collector Indore. In fact, according to the news published in the newspaper, in june 2018 in Mandsaur district, two people had kidnapped a seven-year-old girl from school and also raped her. The accused had slit his throat twice and left him to die.

The government had promised that free education would be provided.

After this, the doctors in indore saved the girl by performing several operations. The then chief minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan, after meeting the victim and her family, had promised that the government would take care of her and her sister's education. The government had also enrolled both the sisters in a private school in Indore. The government had said that both the girls would be given free education.

Next hearing will be on 27th February

Meanwhile, the school management had sent a notice to the indore collector and the district education Department regarding the outstanding fees of Rs 14 lakh of the gang rape victim and her sister. Earlier this matter was taken into cognizance by the indore bench of the High Court. After this the main bench was again transferred to Jabalpur. madhya pradesh high court has scheduled the next hearing of the case on february 27 after receiving the government's reply.
