Reportedly Union minister and RPI(A) president ramdas athawale on monday said raj Thackeray-led maharashtra navnirman sena (MNS) should not be included in the national democratic alliance (NDA). Athawale told reporters here that raj Thackeray's party could benefit more if it contests the elections alone instead of joining hands with the BJP-led alliance. There is speculation about MNS joining the 'Mahayuti' alliance of BJP, shiv sena and ncp for the upcoming lok sabha elections.

Meanwhile mumbai BJP President ashish Shelar had recently met raj Thackeray at his mumbai residence. minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Athawale said, “There is no need to include MNS in NDA. I am with nda and MNS should not be taken into alliance.'' He said that his party RPI (A) will claim Solapur and Shirdi lok sabha seats in the upcoming lok sabha elections and will also claim at least 8 to 10 seats for the assembly elections. But will claim.

Athawale said, “Mahayuti leaders should take RPI into confidence while finalizing seats for the lok sabha elections.” He said that he had joined politics because of senior politician Sharad Pawar. Athawale said, “Pawar had included me in the cabinet. Earlier I was with them, but I later joined an alliance. Pawar should have decided to join hands with BJP.'' He advised maratha reservation movement activist Manoj Jarange to be careful while speaking.
