Before filing the nomination, bjp and congress candidates came to the traffic intersection to garland the statue of Maharaja Surajmal and then filed their nomination. Former cabinet minister and former Maharaja of Bharatpur Vishvendra Singh arrived to fill out the form along with congress candidate Sanjana Jatav.

bjp and congress candidates took out a rally in the market after filing nominations. bjp candidate Ramswaroop Koli started the rally from Kumher Gate of Bharatpur which passed through the main market and ended at the power house. bjp MLAs and local leaders were present in the rally of the bjp candidate and organized a public meeting at Laxman Mandir Chowk in the city in which state in-charge, minister Kailash Choudhary also arrived and appealed to the public to make bjp candidate Ramswaroop Koli win.
