Nitish Thanks Modi For
Caste Census
Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar publicly thanked prime minister Modi for approving the caste census and called on the people of bihar to express their gratitude as well. Sharing the stage with the prime minister during the event, where Modi inaugurated 28 development projects worth over ₹5,900 crore, the JD(U) chief praised the Centre’s move.
“Ordering a caste census is a great initiative by the Central government. I sincerely thank the prime minister for this step,” Kumar said, addressing the crowd. “You all should also express your gratitude to him,” he added. The rare public show of appreciation comes amid shifting political dynamics in bihar and signals growing alignment between the bjp and JD(U) leadership on key governance matters.
Modi Slams RJD, Congress
Modi launched a scathing attack on the RJD-Congress alliance, accusing them of stalling Bihar’s progress for decades.
Taking a sharp dig at opposition parties, PM Modi said, “Lalten and Panja forced the people of bihar to leave their homes and migrate in search of livelihoods. They reduced the state to such a condition that poverty and mass exodus became Bihar’s identity.” His remarks were aimed directly at Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Rashtriya Janata Dal (symbol: lantern) and the congress party (symbol: hand).
Highlighting the change in governance, PM Modi credited the nda government led by chief minister Nitish Kumar for steering bihar back onto the path of development. “It’s under Nitish ji’s leadership and the NDA’s rule that bihar has begun moving forward again,” he said.
