The PM Kisan Yojana is a flagship initiative by the government of india aimed at providing income support to farmers. Under this scheme, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually in three installments of ₹2,000 each. The 21st installment of PM Kisan Yojana is expected to be released around Diwali 2025, but not all farmers will receive this installment.

Here's who will not receive the 21st installment of PM Kisan Yojana:

1. Ineligible or Non-Verified Farmers

· Farmers who have not updated their KYC: If farmers have not completed their Know Your customer (KYC) verification, they may not receive the installment. It's important for farmers to ensure that their KYC details are accurate and up-to-date to avoid missing out on the payment.

· Farmers whose bank details are incorrect: If there is any issue with the bank account linked to the PM Kisan Yojana, like incorrect account number or IFSC code, the installment will not be credited to their accounts.

2. Non-Farmer Beneficiaries (Ineligible Recipients)

· Landholding Verification: The scheme is for farmers who have land holdings. If the beneficiary’s name does not appear in the land record or they are not recognized as the rightful owner of agricultural land, they will be excluded from the list of eligible recipients for this installment.

· Ineligible Categories: Farmers belonging to certain ineligible categories such as:

o Income taxpayers

o Government employees

o Pensioners (receiving more than ₹10,000 per month in pensions)

o Professionals such as doctors, engineers, etc.

3. Farmers Who Have Not Linked Their Aadhaar

· Aadhaar Linking: The government has made it mandatory for farmers to link their Aadhaar number to the PM Kisan account for receiving benefits. If farmers have not completed this process, they will be excluded from receiving the 21st installment.

4. Non-Compliance with Agricultural Guidelines

· Non-Cultivating Farmers: If the government finds that the recipient is not actively cultivating or farming land, they might be removed from the beneficiary list. This includes farmers who have stopped farming or are engaged in other professions.

5. Duplicate Beneficiaries

· Duplicate Claims: In some cases, farmers who have claimed benefits under multiple names or accounts might not be eligible for the installment. The government is continuously checking for duplicate entries in the database and may remove such beneficiaries from the list.

How to Ensure You Receive the 21st Installment:

· Check Your KYC Status: Farmers should visit the official PM Kisan Yojana website and check if their KYC is verified. In case of any discrepancies, they should update it immediately.

· Verify bank Account Details: Ensure that your bank account is linked to your PM Kisan account, and that all details (account number, IFSC code) are correct.

· Link Aadhaar: Make sure your Aadhaar number is linked to the PM Kisan account. If you haven’t done so yet, visit the nearest CSC (Common service Center) to complete this process.

· Ensure Correct Land Records: Ensure that your name is properly registered in the land records. Any mismatch could result in exclusion from the scheme.

Conclusion:

The 21st installment of PM Kisan Yojana is likely to bring relief to eligible farmers, but ineligible farmers, those with discrepancies in their KYC, Aadhaar, or bank details, and those from excluded categories will miss out on this payment. It's advisable for all farmers to check and ensure their details are updated on the PM Kisan portal well before the release date.
