Tollywood star heroine samantha has been on a hiatus from films, focusing on personal well-being and spiritual journeys due to her battle with myositis. Recently, she made headlines by sharing bikini-clad pictures from a swimming pool in Malaysia, garnering a whopping 1.5 million likes within an hour.

After a visit to Tirupati, samantha, who has been gradually recovering from myositis, returned to the industry with the completion of dubbing for the web series "Citadel" alongside bollywood actor varun Dhawan, scheduled for release in 2024. Despite this, she hasn't committed to any other projects.

Samantha was featured in Femina india magazine on international Women's Day, celebrating her journey from her iconic role in "Ye Maaya Chesave" to her recent endeavours like the Citadel series. Femina india praised samantha as a "force of nature" and commended her inspiring journey for women across the country.

In her return to the big screen, samantha paired up with Vijay devarakonda in the film "Khushi," marking their collaboration after the success of "Mahanati." Released in september 2023, the film showcased their chemistry once again. In Kollywood, speculation is rife that samantha is in talks for a film directed by rahul Ravindran, the husband of her friend Chinmai. Although rahul is currently occupied with "The Girlfriend," featuring national sensation rashmika mandanna, talks with samantha have reportedly taken place. Fans eagerly await an official announcement regarding Samantha's upcoming projects.
