BCCI has released a new announcement regarding the player's auction in the IPL series 2023. The t20 world cup cricket series has started in australia and is going on briskly. At a time when all the fans are focusing on it, bcci has given an update about the IPL. bcci has announced that the IPL player's auction for 2023 will be held on december 16. For this, all the teams have to submit the list of retained players by november 15. After this, consultation started within the teams from now. In the context of the IPL mega auction last season, the next season will only have a mini-auction. During the last auction, each team was allowed to spend Rs 90 crore each. But they have announced that an additional Rs 5 crore will be added to the mini-auction for the next season and they can spend Rs 95 crore.
Not only the auction but also the competition methods have been changed. That means next year IPL series will be held in the home and away mode. This means that all the teams can play half of the matches at their home ground and half of the matches at another ground. CSK fans are especially happy about this.It has been reported that the 2023 IPL series will start at the end of march next year and will be held till May. It is noteworthy that the bcci is consulting to bring about changes in various matters such as match numbers and facilities.
