Vijayendra Kumeria who plays the lead in Teri Meri Doriyaan says, 'I am playing a Sikh character for the first time. I have changed a lot to mold myself into this character. I am playing the role of Angad Singh Brar who is the eldest son of the family and a successful businessman. From a very young age he had developed the habit of weighing things in terms of money and time and according to him these two things are most important in the outside world and then everyone understands the language of money. When it comes to his own family, he loves them the most and would do anything to keep them happy. This is the family space where he takes a back seat and his heart takes over his mind. Being a perfectionist, she has not found her perfect match yet.


Himanshi Parashar who plays the role of Sahiba in 'Teri Meri Doriyaan' shares her experience during the shoot and says, 'When we were shooting for a sequence of the show in Ludhiana, I had to make clay pots using pottery tools. Got a chance to make utensils. They were very large and very heavy. I actually learned how to spin the charkha, during which I got hurt a few times because it was made of cement and was very heavy. Due to which my back started getting pain. But I really enjoyed shooting that scene and that scene is one of my most memorable scenes.

'Teri Meri Doriyaan' is being directed by Jaideep Sen. Jaideep Sen has directed Rakesh Roshan's film 'Crazy 4' in the year 2008. Jaideep Sen says, 'I have worked with rakesh roshan as an associate director in 'Koi Mil Gaya' and 'Krrish 3'. Till now I have directed shows like 'Gum Hai Kisi Ke Pyar Mein', 'Maan Rahe Tera Pita', 'Bhaskar Bharti'. But 'Teri Meri Doriyaan' is very close to my heart, so doing this show gives me immense pleasure. Since I come from the background of films, I am directing this show like a film.

Teri Meri Doriyaan is the story of three couples who are in search of the ideal match. The views of the three couples do not match each other at all. Himanshi Parashar, playing the role of Sahiba, believes that what her father could not achieve due to misfortune, she wants to achieve with her skills. Similarly, all the three sisters have their own dreams. The show will air from 4 january 2023 on Star Plus from monday to sunday at 7 PM. The show is produced by Rajesh ram Singh, pradeep Kumar, Shikha praveen and Piya Bajpai under the banner of Cock Crow & Shikha Entertainment. The show stars Vijayendra Kumeria, Tushar Thepla, Jatin Arora, Himanshi Arora, Prachi Hada, Rupam Sharma, avinash The Wadhawans and Surendra Pal play the lead roles.
