Last night in Bengaluru, the South edition of the Filmfare Awards were presented, and Icon Star Allu Arjun's most recent film, pushpa, took home the top honours in a number of categories. allu arjun won the Best Actor prize for his exceptional portrayal of pushpa Raj, and director Sukumar won the Best director prize.
The songs from "Pushpa" were top-charters across all of India, and music director "Rockstar" devi sri prasad deservedly won the Best music director award. For the movie Srivalli, sid sriram received the Best Male Playback singer award, and Indravati Chauhan took home the Best Female Playback singer title. The Best Film prize went to "Pushpa" last but not least. allu arjun expressed his happiness at the response and thanked the viewers and voters. He continued by saying how moved he was by the gesture. Allu Aravind, the producer and father of bunny, received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the occasion.
