Following an argument on the red carpet during the  MTV Video music Awards in New York last Sunday, Conor McGregor as well as Machine Gun Kelly had to be restrained on the red carpet. Photos of the altercation emerged, showing McGregor, a previous two-time UFC champ, as well as rapper Machine Gun Kelly's  A footage, was then released showing McGregor as well as Kelly standing opposite from one other until the Irish superstar appeared to make a rush against the Cleveland, Ohio native, prompting officials to rush in to intervene before a brawl erupted.


As per reports, the brawl began after McGregor apparently requested a selfie from Kelly, which she refused. Kelly is said to have shoved McGregor, causing the ex-UFC champion to fall over and throw his drink. When McGregor reportedly tossed his drink at Kelly, the scene became even tenser as security tried to keep the two superstars away. Kelly, as well as Fox, were seen strolling the red carpet alongside prior to actually entering the building when calmer heads prevailed. During the programme, Kelly is set to perform with Travis Barker. During a conversation  McGregor also acknowledged the issue, denying ever knew Machine Gun Kelly prior to the altercation.
