However, on 3 august 2021, his ex-wife shalini Singh filed a petition against the singer in Delhi's Tis Hazari court. She also accused the rapper of adultery, sexual assault, mental harassment, and domestic violence as she filed for divorce. According to several media reports, honey singh had paid shalini a whopping amount of 1 crore as a settlement.
