At Vijayakanth's funeral, a man hits Thalapathy Vijay with slipper..?

Superstar Vijay from tamil Nadu honoured the late politician and actor Vijayakanth on friday at Island Ground in Chennai. The actor and president of DMDK passed away on thursday after testing positive for COVID-19. He was seventy-one. Recently, a video showing Vijay being attacked by an anonymous individual went viral. The actor can be seen in the video, which was posted by a fan page on X, heading towards his car as people horde him. 

A slipper is thrown at him and strikes his neck a few seconds later. Vijay keeps going without turning around. The security for the actor is seen attempting to move aside to make room for him. The statement that accompanied the video footage said, "Actor Vijay was attacked in the Vijayakanth funeral place by some unidentified persons."

Another video, shot from an alternate perspective, shows a fan discarding the shoe after it strikes a celebrity from Tamilnadu. Another video shows someone throwing a slipper at Vijay. "This is incorrect," the text stated. friday at 1 pm stood Vijayakanth's funeral. At the Island Ground, politicians and celebrities gathered to pay their final tributes to the legendary figure in tamil cinema.  As he complained of breathing difficulties, Vijayakanth, affectionately known as "Captain," was brought to a hospital and placed on a ventilator, according to news agency ANI. Among his iconic roles are those in Chatriyan, Vallarasu, Sattam Oru Iruttarai, Ramana, and Engal Anna.
