In commemoration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a special event titled “Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in local Governance Bodies” was held in Chennai. The initiative aims to promote inclusivity, representation, and leadership opportunities for persons with disabilities within local administrative structures.
Chief minister M.K. stalin Presents Awards
The event was presided over by Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. Stalin, who honoured several persons with disabilities for their achievements in various fields.
