Raju Gari Gadhi was a film that released with zero expectations, as it had low-key promotions, besides the previous venture of the director was a huge disaster. However, the movie Turned out to be a surprise winner at the box office despite having relatively unknown faces starring in it, thanks to the crisp, interesting narration by Director Omkar.
Now, director Omkar is almost done directing the sequel to the 2015 hit, and this film will be getting a grand release, thanks to king Nagarjuna playing the lead role. This movie is touted to be the unofficial remake of Malayalam hit Pretham that was directed by Ranjith Sankar and had Jayasurya in lead. The first look poster of the film was released a few weeks back, and now the makers have made an announcement that the trailer of the film will be out on September 20, coinciding with Akkineni Nageswara Rao's birth anniversary.
The Omkar directorial has Nagarjuna playing a mentalist and has his daughter in law Samantha playing a spirit whose revenge is exposed by Nag. The film produced by PVP cinemas also stars Seerat Kapoor, with Kajal Aggarwal making an appearance in a special song and releases worldwide on October 13. This special song will be shot in a special set and it is going to ooze more glam from Kajal
