Alia Bhatt's mother soni razdan took to her instagram account to share an adorable photo, which was a picture from her daughter Alia's wedding. In the photo, Soni was seen in a pink color saree. Flaunting her desi look with a contrast quarter sleeve blouse and matching jewellery, Soni looked drop dead gorgeous. mahesh bhatt, on the other hand, looked dapper in a sequined kurta and white pyjama.


Along with this picture, Soni also wrote an emotional note for her husband, in which she told how she met Mahesh through a friend. She further added that it is a very long story and she just wanted to share how they met and fell in love with each other.

He wrote, "Our story: One day suddenly I got a call from a friend who wanted me to meet a man named Mahesh Bhatt... Ok leave it now... It's a very long story." Phir Kabhi (Let's save this for another time.) The main point is that we met, fell in love, now we are here. Happy anniversary baby. We've really come a long way."

The two later held a reception party at Hotel Taj in Mumbai, where they announced their marriage. Mahesh and Soni welcomed their first daughter, whom they named shaheen bhatt, in 1988 and their second daughter, alia bhatt, in 1993.
