Volkswagen unveiled the Special Limited Edition hatchback earlier this week, celebrating 12 years of Polo success.  Volkswagen Polo will soon cease production in India. 



The German carmaker has officially announced that there will be no more polo production in the country. This premium hatchback was first launched in india in 2009, but volkswagen is one of the most successful models in India. 



This was revealed by volkswagen in a statement on Thursday. This statement looks personal after the success of polo in india for the last 12 years. volkswagen unveiled the Special Limited Edition hatchback earlier this week, celebrating 12 years of Polo success. 



It's called the Polo legend Edition. The Polo legend will be the final production unit of the hatchback from the Chakan plant, a car manufacturer near Pune.



Only 700 units of the


Volkswagen Polo legend Edition are available in the hatchback GT TSI variant. The company makes only 700 units of this special limited edition. The company has priced the volkswagen Polo legend Edition ex-showroom at Rs 10.25 lakh.

The Polo hatchback was launched in india in 2009 and launched in 2010. Celebrating 12 years of springs today. Polo is Volkswagen's first locally-made model at the Chakan plant in Pune. Polo has had over 3 lakh customers in india since then.
