With each passing day, the rivalry between Vijayawada-based telugu desam party mp kesineni nani and his younger brother Kesineni Chinni grows more intriguing. Despite rumours that kesineni nani was dissatisfied with the tdp leadership and could leave the party, he abruptly made a U-turn and began actively participating in party events.

The engagement of Kesineni's daughter swetha took place in hyderabad at the same time, and party president and chief minister N chandrababu naidu went. The two of them spent a lot of time together, making it apparent to the party cadre that all is good within the vijayawada TDP. While the mp was preoccupied with planning his daughter's wedding, his younger brother Chinni met with vangaveeti Radha, a Kapu leader and former mla who is also a top tdp official in Vijayawada.

Angaveeti joined the tdp prior to the 2019 assembly elections, but she did not run but supported the party during the campaign. He now intends to run from the vijayawada (central) constituency, which Kesineni is considering. According to reports, Chinni met vangaveeti and promised to provide him all the help he needs in the upcoming elections, apparently in an effort to defeat his older brother. In exchange, Chinni would look to Radha and his Kapu clans for backing in his bid for the vijayawada Lok Sabha seat. In a public declaration, Chinni also stated that his goal is to ensure that Naidu wins the state's elections in 2024. Although he did not state his intentions, he has made suggestions that he may run for Lok Sabha.
