Amit Shah, the union home minister, appears to have focused on andhra pradesh after mobilising the bharatiya janata party in telangana to prepare it for battle in this year's assembly elections. On january 8, Shah would travel to two districts in andhra pradesh to attend party gatherings, provide instructions to party officials, and speak at a public gathering to reenergize the party cadre.

At 11.15 am, Shah would give a speech to the public at kurnool outlining the party's agenda. After eating lunch, he will later enter the Sri satya Sai district. At 1:30 pm, he would meet with party members there. He would visit the satya Sai ashram after speaking at a public gathering in puttaparthi at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Before returning to New delhi at 5 o'clock, he would meet with party leaders in a private setting once again to lay out a plan for the upcoming elections in Andhra Pradesh.

Shah's visit coincides with rumours that jagan may call early elections in the state. Additionally, he is anticipated to clarify the party's position on the three capitals issue and provide guidance to the party cadre in this area. During his discussions with the party leaders, he might also clarify the arrangement with the telugu desam party and the Jana Sena party, according to reports.
