Today is the last day to link Aadhaar number with EB..!?

A few months ago it became mandatory for everyone in tamil Nadu to link their electricity connection with an Aadhaar number. A notification regarding this has also been announced by the government. Since this announcement, the work has been going on in full swing. To make it easier for people to do this, the government is taking several steps. Special camps have been set up for this purpose. The camps started on november 28 and are going on in full swing. Everyone should keep in mind that today is the last date for this link. Those who have not yet linked their electricity connection with their Aadhaar number should do so today, it has been informed. The Power Board has informed us that the period for this will not be extended. Therefore, those who have not yet connected with Aadhaar are requested to complete this task today to avoid unnecessary hassles.
Linking of power connection with Aadhaar can also be done online easily. You can find the full process here.
Step 1: The consumer should first go to the official website of TNEB i.e. https://adhar.tnebltd.org/Aadhaar/.

Step 2: Here, you have to enter your service connection number, phone (mobile) number, and text as seen in the image.

Step 3: After that, the name of the person for the power connection will appear on the screen. In it, you will be presented with four options for communication between you and the home.
- Owner
- Tenant
- Owner, but the link is still in someone else's name without changing your name
- Relative of a non-resident Indian
Step 4: Make your choice among these and tick. After that, you have to type in your Aadhaar number. Give your consent and click on 'Send OTP'.
Step 5: The OTP will be sent to the mobile number linked with Aadhaar.

Step 6: Type it and click Submit. After this, your Aadhaar number will be linked to the electricity connection.

In this way, users can easily link their Aadhaar number with an electricity connection.
